LASER VEIN TREATMENT
The Preoperative Features
- Removal of unsightly veins on the face and legs
- All skin types see results
- Prior surgery or treatments on your veins may effect the outcome of
this particular treatment
- Any veins can be treated except for bulging varicose veins
The Procedure
- The entire procedure should take about 15-30 minutes
- The laser heats the blood temperature at the targeted area to a
level that causes coagulation without damage to the epidermis or
surrounding tissue
- The area treated will look like a small bruise with the possibility
of a small blister forming
- Sensitivity levels and pain tolerance differ from patient to
patient, but most feel the smaller veins are quite comfortable while the
larger veins sting a little
- The treatment is very quick and the cooling system helps take away
most of the discomfort
The Recovery
- You may return to most normal activities immediately after the
treatment
- We suggest that you do refrain from vigorous exercise and avoid hot
tubs for at least 24 hours post treatment
- Always use a minimum of SPF 30 on treated areas
The Results
- You will notice significant improvement in as few as 1-3 treatments
- New veins may appear in which additional treatments may be necessary
- Treatments are at 8 week intervals
