Ethnic Skincare

THE TYPICAL PATIENT

  • All ethnic skin
  • Men and women concerned with ingrown hair or razor bumps, a common condition known as pseudofolliculitius barbae (PFB)
  • All skin types such as dry, oily, acneic and sensitive
  • Skin discoloration from melasma, known as the “mask of pregnancy” brown patches occurring on cheeks, upper lip and forehead
  • Hyperpigmentation mainly due to acneic conditions, acneic scarring, sun-damage and other probable causes of pigmentation problems

THE PROCEDURE(S)

  • Home care regimen with medical grade skin care products and treatments
  • Office treatments to include: facials and specifically designed chemical peels
  • These treatments can be combined with laser services
  • There is no anesthesia and little to no down time

THE RESULT

  • With treatments and maintenance, hyperpigmentation will gradually fade.
  • Overall complexion will improve and skin tone will become more even.

We recommend a thorough and customized skin consultation in our office where we have a special interest and expertise in ethnic skincare. The consultation is necessary in understanding your skin type and developing the correct treatment plan for you.
